Al Jazeera Open Call, deadline 28 February

The international network Al Jazeera English launched the Open Call for Viewfinder Latin America for Latin American filmmakers. The application deadline is 28 February 2013.

Ten filmmakers will be chosen to participate in the workshop that will take place in Uruguay, their proposals will be considered for commissioning by the programmers of Witness, Al Jazeera’s documentary programme. The network will fully finance the production of up to six documentaries.

Filmmmakers can submit their applications through Viewfinder’s website, in which there’s available the documentary profile, the previously produced films and the Viewfinder’s FAQ.
