Series Lab

The Series Pitching is geared to generating possibilities for financing series projects in Latin America that are seeking to complete their budgets through international acquisitions or co-productions.

Program

SERIES DOC is a space for training, acceleration and internationalization of projects in the development of documentary series that will have two instances: a training session at DocMontevideo and another for acceleration and meetings with decision makers at SANFIC INDUSTRIA.

IN DOCMONTEVIDEO

The 6 selected projects will have a training space with tutorials from Vero Fiorito, organized as follows:

Online LAB | during July

The selected projects will participate in a pitch preparation and development workshop. The meetings will be scheduled during the month of July online with a duration of 4 hours.

Face-to-face LAB in Montevideo | July 23 and 24 (10am – 6pm)

The training with the projects continues in person at DocMontevideo for two days to prepare the presentations.

Creative Feedback and Networking | July 25 (3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.)

Coordination of meetings with decision makers from Latin American television stations to receive creative feedback on projects that contribute to their strengthening

Online LAB | August

The project development journey at DocMontevideo ends with a last online instance of group exchange.

Verónica Fiorito

Verónica Fiorito (Argentina) has a solid career in the field of producing and directing TV & Film, her training is consolidated with a degree in Audiovisual Production and Management. She has developed a career in cultural management becoming Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Culture of Argentina. She directed and took part in the team that designed and launched the Pakapaka channel, the signal dedicated to children and Canal Encuentro.

IN SANFIC INDUSTRY

The 6 selected projects will participate online in SERIES DOC-SANTIAGO within the framework of SANFIC INDUSTRIA-SERIES LAB where they will have training, one-on-one meetings and private Pitch in front of global industry players.
In addition, they will be part of the SANFIC NET selection. In SERIES DOC-SANFIC INDUSTRIA, the sales dossier will be worked on in its deck and one page formats (masterclass/tutorials) and the contact of the projects and their representatives with possible prescribers and decision makers, in order to continue with the acceleration process. and internationalization of the selected projects.
