For the sixth consecutive year, Montevideo will host the documentary meeting of the Latin American TVs. Registrations are now open for the activities of market (Meetings , Documentary Pitching and Series Pitching) , Hackathon – Development Team, Hackathon – Projects and Documentary Week .

 

meetingsMeetings

The DocMontevideo Meetings are a place for marketing completed feature documentaries or series for television. Meetings consist of one-on-one twelve minutes meetings between producers and representatives of broadcasters , sales agents or decision makers . The focus of the market is Latin America, with presence of the U.S. and Europe. Deadline : Tuesday April 15, 2014.

 

pitchingDocumentary Pitching

The Documentary Pitching proposes a training path for 12 Latin American projects. The goal is to enhance the creative possibilities and opportunities for funding and position in the international market. Deadline: Tuesday April 15, 2014.

 

pitchingSeries Pitching 

The Series Pitching seeks to create opportunities for financing series projects in Latin America, that already have a partial funding in their territory and seek to complete the budget through pre – sales or international co-productions. Deadline: Tuesday April 15, 2014.

The DocMontevideo Hackathon is a workshop that proposses the production of two interactive prototypes related to nonfiction projects, series or feature documentary in stages of work in progress, editting or distribution. Deadline: Tuesday April 15, 2014.

 

 

La Semana del DocumentalDocumentary Week 

Documentary Week is the exhibition space of DocMontevideo, where every day we premiere a film presented by the director. In 2014 we open a call for filmmakers who want to showcase their films in this space. Deadline: Saturday March 15, 2014.
