The Forum of Latin American Television Channels is a space that DocMontevideo offers for communication, dialogue and debate among the television channels and participants about subjects of interest to the audiovisual sector in Latin America.

In our four editions, there has been discussion and idea sharing in the Forum about the path towards co-productions between public television channels and independent producers in Latin America (2009); various regulation plans and experiences to safeguard the exercise of citizens’ rights on TV and the role of the State in such regulation (2010); digital convergence with its challenges and multi-platform production (2011); and the development of interactive models in digital television, with a special emphasis on tools for producing educational contents (2012).
