Screenings of the Documentary Week at DocMontevideo

The Documentary Week is the space of film exhibitions of DocMontevideo, with daily screenings of films presented by their directors or a member of its team. At the end of each screening public and directors have an inclusive dialogue.

In this edition, six documentary films will be exhibited which will give continuity to the themes treated during the training activities of DocMontevideo. This edition counts within its selection with three films that went through the training for pitching and writing workshop: “Carolina’s World” (Uruguay), “Beyond my grandfather Allende” (Chile) and “Moments of campaign” (Ecuador), a Uruguayan preview: “The new man” and two films related to the Master Classes: “Last conversations” and “JL’s Passion”, both from Brazil.

Screenings will take place from the 24th to the 29th of July, in the following theaters: Sala Pocitos de Cinemateca Uruguaya, Sala Zitarrosa, Sala Zavala Muniz of the Solís Theatre.
