Eva Valiño (Spain). Sound. She trained in Barcelona, New Orleans and Cuba. She has worked in the sound of more than 60 films with directors like Icíar Bollaín, Goya for Best Sound 2004 for Te doy mis ojos, and with Manuel Martín Cuenca, nominated to the Goya for Best Sound with Cannibal in 2014. She has recently been nominated for the sound category of the Gaudí Awards 2018 for Estiu 1993 by Carla Simón. In parallel to his work in film, she is dedicated to academic research and teaching sound expression in university seminars. With Javier Rebollo, she received the Best Sound Award at the Mediterranean Film Festival of Larissa for the short The baggage opened and for In separate beds, at the National Short Film Competition of Medina del Campo. She has also received the Award for Best Sound for Goodbye, by Nacho Ruiz Solanas.
