DocMontevideo 2013 Open Calls

 

 

 

DocMontevideo Open Call for its V edition Market activities, wich will take place from July 17 to 26, 2013. The submissions are now open and the application deadline is 15 April 2013.

There are 2 types of submission for DocMontevideo’s Market Area:

1- Meetings

The DocMontevideo Meetings are a space for the commercialization of finalized contents for television. They consist of fifteen-minute one-on-one meetings between the project producers and representatives of television companies, sales agents or decision makers. Only finished contents may apply to the Meetings, Work-In-Progress must submit to the Pitching. At the Meetings are allowed fiction or documentaries, all durations in one-off or series formats. Each participant may apply with up to 2 contents, and a maximum of 30 participants will be selected.

2 -Pitching

The Pitching consist in the oral presentation of documentary projects in development in front of a panel composed by television companies and institutions related to cinema and TV. The Call has two modalities: the Documentary Pitching and the Series Pitching. 12 projects will be selected for the Documentary Pitching and 8 for the Series Pitching.

The acreditation to the Market activities includes the entrance to all the activities included in the Documentary Workshop.
